The kids won't really know what the demonstration is all about and would likely just be bored. Then, in this current climate of busting out store windows or shooting fireworks at cops, it's probably better not to include kids in any of it. It seems that any protest event, regardless of the intent or purpose, could erupt into a dangerous riot at the drop of a hat. Tensions are very high, lately.
