The titular adventurers seem to be in a pretty deep hole right now, but that's just what happens when you get to Egypt; the stand users are more powerful overall, and at least the fights become more intense. I was referring to the anime.

I'm surprised I haven't seen the Toonami meta say this on Twitter, but I'm sad Hunter × Hunter is getting such low ratings for its absolute best arc. It's kind of like One Piece all over again, but at least this show has an actual ending.

I'm not sure that nihilism regarding Dragon Ball Super is the best way to rationalize how things are, but it's somewhat true. It's probably making the ratings at least good, and if DeMarco says the ratings are good, there's no logical reason for them to change anything. They can still try to go out and get the newest and most popular shows, but if they aren't able to get any of them, that does not speak negatively on how the block is run. In the worst-case scenario, if they can't get anything you want to watch, just go out and find it on other venues. That's how the majority of regular people do it anyway.

My conspiracy theory is that, since Anime Strike shut down on the same day the delay announcement was made, it's an Amazon show. In non-weasel words, Made in Abyss.

Yeah, Moose had no reason to exist here after they took off One Piece, so it was as good of a time as any to completely explode.

So here's your new ED, from the Pat Metheny Group. It came out in 1987, which is the same year the JoJo's manga started. I'm not even sure if whatever that is should sound like a sitar, but it's pretty cool.

So why is Polnareff suddenly saying phrases in French? I didn't remember him doing that much in the first arc, if at all. Maybe they thought this would be better than doing the accents?

Okay, so we have the fourth episode coming up soon. Had it not been for the premiere of the second half and all its emo glory, this one would be my favorite. It easily still is of the first half. You might want to have some yogurt prepared for it, though. Fermenting is still very much in. [insert witty image here]

I just wanted to be back on top for a change. So yeah, there will be a few different things from now on, but do make sure to keep watching the show and have fun in the process. Jotaro and friends are in Egypt now, and I guess the expectation is that the Stand encounters and their fights will get a lot crazier from now on.

I think Toonami is airing good anime. JoJo's, HxH, and pretty much all the reruns are must-watches for me. Dragon Ball Super is good right now, and I guess Gundam is at least tolerable. Maybe some people arent watching these because they can require more narrow tastes?

Toonami's already aired Dimension W, Tokyo Ghoul, and multiple Sword Art Online seasons. The majority of people here hated those, so why would this one bring the block any lower?

Lupin's case was probably because they got the "international version", which had all the episodes by default. It speaks more to that than the Japanese broadcast turning random episodes into OVAs. Also, regarding unfinished shows, don't forget Roberta's Blood Trail.
