https://8values.github.io/results.html?e=59.8&d=34.0&g=56.9&s=68.9 Pretty much what I thought it would turn out as, I am a Centrist with strong right leanings towards Patriotism, strong left leanings towards Social Policy and very slight left leanings on everything else though they are very close to the center. Probably would have been more close to center on the other three had the questions been worded a bit differently or had the middle answer been "both are equally important" in some cases where the questions were a comparison. All in all, it's not a bad survey.

I agreed with Bernie on a few points of his platform, enough that I would have seriously considered voting for him in the election had he been an option. Would have certainly been a better option than Hillary. There are also some things which were a bit too far left for my personal tastes, his ideas on Healthcare isn't really one of them. Mainly because the ideal version he had in mind would not have happened, but I guarantee it would have ended up being a better and more stable plan then Obamacare or anything the Republicans have proposed. He's not even really semi-Communist. He's closer to a European style socialist, which I honestly don't know why people were freaking out over that label, they obviously aren't aware that we have many of the things already that he ran on changing, just really bad and ineffectual version of them. We've had Democratic-Socialist programs and Practices in this country for 80+ years now, but apparently everyone thinks Socialism = Red Flag Waving 1970s USSR.... which could not be further from the case. Look I very much am in favor of preserving American ideals and principles, but that doesn't mean we should not build on them in a way that makes sense and betters our society during the new modern age we live in where technology is quickly outpacing our government's ability to cope and adjust. We need to seriously do some introspection on what it is we value and why we value those things, rather than getting hysterical at group politics.... As it is, I voted for Gary Johnson during the election simply because I couldn't stomach Hillary and I could not bring myself to vote for Trump after some of the things he said about US Military Members, even though some of his platform was somewhat closer to what I would like (note I said somewhat, e.g. closer than the half-assed shit Hillary put out to look like she gave a fuck). That and the whole ambiguity around his pandering to homophobes and racists in the Republican primary left a bad taste in my mouth. I know why he did it, not saying that all republican fall under that category most don't, but there is a significant portion that shares some of those views which he needed to get on board in order to get elected. I don't honestly believe for a second that a man that's had more than 2 wives, owns huge strips of sin addled casinos, and hails from New York gives a damn about anything related to race or gays. But it was bad enough that I could not personally vote for him. Gary, wasn't perfect either, but I at least liked his intellectual approach to reason in his positions and his penchant for arguing from a factual place rather than starting from an emotional one. He ended up with 9 percent of the vote, I would have loved to see him actually make it into the National Debate, I think he would have destroyed Trump intellectually. Last years options were just abysmal, worse than any election I have ever voted in my lifetime.

I got exasperated with the amount of filler in Shippuden. It's like 100x worse than the amount of filler in Naruto original. Not to mention like 80% of their filler is fucking pointless flashback episodes to minor things no one gives a shit about. It got bad enough towards the end I totally lost interest while waiting for them to actually resume anything resembling the main storyline and finish their damn show. It turns out the anime tacked on about 30 extra filler episodes in the last saga for no fucking reason other than to have them since they were produced and aired after the manga had finished....

That's how I watch usually. It sounds like you don't have a cable subscription though. You could always look on Rabb.it, I have noticed a ton of people on there actually do public open streams for various popular things. I haven't seen one for Toonami personally, but I don't generally look through their launcher either. Of course, that makes you dependent on someone else being around every week. Might be an ok interim solution though, assuming there is one?

Aha, I am told I have a pretty good voice actually.... it's one of the things people say to me a lot actually. I'm surprised myself I don't think it's that great, apparently having a deep voice and good inflection will get you kudos though... On that note, I have been actually writing my own story which is heavily based on anime themes, scifi, and fantasy adventure novels. I don't have the skills to animate such a thing though unfortunately. If and when I ever get it to a point where I have enough chapters finished, and edited I might release a link to them here since I intend on publishing them online either by blog or website of some sort. haha Anyways, yeah let me know if you want to join in on the fun. We've been having a blast so far. I am like you and tend to greatly prefer subs to dubs. I am current on One Piece sub and manga (well most of the manga), cause I'm a giant fanboy when it comes to One Piece.... That said, the dub has kind of grown on me a bit, I think it's because the English VAs started out rather rough in their interpretations of the characters, but after you've been doing something for like 5 years you get way better at it. That's what I think has happened with the English VAs because the latest Sagas I've watched have been pretty spot on. Though nothing will ever beat Sanji's epic Japanese voice imo lmao, it's hard to get that rugged suave behavior across in English I think.
