  1. This hearing with the secret service director may be the worst hearing I have ever heard. No one watching this can possibly believe that she is fit for this job. She needs to go, today.
  2. Has anyone actually seen Biden since the announcement? As far as I can tell there isnt even a single picture of him signing his own letter at this point. Are we actually sure he made this decision? Because he has the chance to do the funniest thing ever if he walks on camera and says that a rogue staffer made that letter.
  3. Just a reminder that Harris is such a bad candidate that Tulsi freaking Gabbard took her out during the Democratic primary in 2020.
  4. Sorry Pooh. We are going to get absolutely amazing memes out of this
  5. Hillary has endorsed Harris, but Obama has not (yet) AOC also came out and said it is far from a given that Democrats will unite behind Harris and she will get the nomination.
  6. I still half expect something to happen to keep Trump from being on the ticket in November. This timeline is throwing everything at us, and that would be the ultimate finisher.
  7. That would be the funniest thing ever though.
  8. I never said Democrats would do it. There might be a few, but not a ton. More likely you are going to see the GOP try and make it an issue for a bit as a way to stir up chaos. Which, BTW, chaos goblin is pretty funny. I do feel like I get a victory lap here considering I have been saying for months that Biden (and/or Trump) would not be the nominees in November. I got Biden right, and came within an Inch of getting Trump right to.
  9. Lots of focus on the top of the ticket, and for good reason, but this likely has a bigger impact on down-ballot races. Democrats were going to have to defend Biden and his obvious mental decline. Thats a totally unwinnable position, and something that Democrats themselves realized. Now that Biden isnt there, they arent going to have to answer those questions anymore. Thats a huge deal for down-ballot Democrats in tight races.
  10. Thats absolutely a big factor in it. Biden can just hand Harris his current warchest because she is already on the ticket. If its someone else then things get a lot more complicated.
  11. Look for the calls for Biden to resign the Presidency to grow. If he isnt able to campaign and run for 4 more years, how is he able to remain as POTUS? Going to be a loootttttt of that question floating around.
  12. Edit, NVM. Tweet just changed what I said
  13. Its Joever This entire race just got flipped on its head
  14. Using this post as a marker for post-convention polling Post-assassination attempt Trump has seen a bump in his polling numbers. All the polls coming out since last weekend show Trump with a lead of 2-5 points, and an RCP average of 3. None have Biden with a lead. Swing state polling shows Trump with a lead outside of the MoE in Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina and Arizona, with an average lead of 4.3 points in the RCP top battleground states. The no-tossup map is 325-213 for Trump. Will be interesting to see if there is any shift in this now that the convention is over.
  15. Thats one hell of a response.
  16. Its affecting billions of devices around the world Yet Teams still works, so I have to work. Cant catch a break anywhere it seems.
  17. The GOP’s Big Working-Class Bet https://www.liberalpatriot.com/p/the-gops-big-working-class-bet "In the July New York Times/Siena poll, Biden is losing to Trump by 23 points among working-class likely voters. In their June poll, which was closer to the running average of the polls, Trump led by 17 points among working-class likely voters. Either way, this is a massive shift from the 2020 election where Trump carried these voters by only 4 points and mostly explains why Trump is running ahead this year. New York Times/Siena also did two July state polls in Pennsylvania and Virginia. Pennsylvania is generally viewed as being the “tipping point” state in this election—the state that, if carried by Trump, would tip the electoral college in his favor. In the Times Pennsylvania poll, where Trump’s lead over Biden is the same as in the polling averages, Trump is carrying likely working-class voters in the state by 18 points. That’s double his 9 point lead among these voters in 2020, according to States of Change data." This is exactly what I have been saying. The GOP is transforming into the party of the working class. Democrats are abandoning this group of people in favor of coastal elites and the GOP is moving in to grab them. The Teamsters President showing up at the RNC, and both Vance and Trump talking about Union jobs in their speech further shows how the GOP is changing into the party of the working class. It also appears to be working. The polling referenced in the article clearly shows that the GOP is winning that vote, and that firmly puts the rust belt in play for the GOP.
  18. Iranian UAV launched from Yemen hit Israel last night. Supposedly the US shot down 3 others.
  19. Thats absolutely horrible BJ etiquette. If your gonna give a BJ, do it right. No use wasting everyones time.
