I have a Publix around here too and they'd win me over if there was a gas station over there. Their store is clean and the people are nice, more expensive, but it generally seems like a happier place than Walmart

idk i've never found the Great Value brand to be all THAT much different on most things. i don't do store brand either if there's a good sale or on like cereal or snacks where the quality drop is more noticeable

i've never found anything i liked from aldi, i know it's supposed to be cheaper than walmart. i've literally tried i think every staple, which i would usually get from walmart, and i've always been disappointed. i think the only times i can find decent stuff there are the snacks, but even that i'll just go somewhere else because the lines are too long
