I actually have seven good lines written to this already. Think I'm gonna finish it all the way and see what happens. -
Yeah I figured it was something a little out there like that... It probably isn't for me, but I've heard of it. It was on [as] for a bit wasn't it?

I never watched season 1. What's the plot?

I put together a semi-fancy PC last week
PhilosipherStoned replied to Rogue_Alphonse's topic in Free-For-All
Yeah I've known about it for years of course, but I've never actually known anyone that's opted for liquid cooling in person. As for SSD's They were still crazy expensive..more so than now anyway when I built this pc. -

The cat will. I get him a case of cans when I go grocery shopping most of the time, but I'm not dishing this guy up a fresh batch every day... -

I hate spoiled and demanding animals lol. You gonna take the cats side.. You would take the cat's side. -
What I'm not watching that dribble, but I'm at least going to have fun spitballing at whatever kind of incoherent ramble he's on just going off the thumbnail. That's what I do every time one of you posts his horse trash here.

Good eye I barely noticed the logo lol. Makes my joke all the more a reach I guess.

Not watching the video, but I'm just going to go ahead and say it because I know he did it. No camera trickery I see the bruises on her I wanna see his black eye, his split lip, and I mean I don't want to see his busted balls but I know they're busted. If they weren't already..

I was thinking of this.. Fun fact though due to the plague killing so many and the filth and stench of it all a lot of plague doctors came to the ridiculous notion that they could purify areas with fragrances and that the stench was like a miasma they just needed to protect people from.. For example a lot of these "doctors" had tube systems connected to their masks that would pump whatever good fragrance they wanted like lavender etc through the mask.

Even the all hailed M-95 doesnt offer you complete protection. from airborne shit.. One could even go as far as to say wearing a plastic mask over one might just provide for extra contaminants to build up on it's surface and actually be a risk for all I know, but I'm not a virologist or anything of the sort. Just spitballing with that last part I guess.

Yeah cats have been associated with witchcraft and shit like that for centuries, but I don't think my cats possessed at all lol. It's just not very comforting at all to have your cat come in at like 2am all primal about ready to rip a bird up after you've been thinking about ghosts and shit. -
Meh well I'm all for the decorative thing, but I'm still going to argue it doesn't really matter past 1 layer of an effective face mask. Surgeons and med staff following high protocols and wearing the best face masks have still ended up getting infected. In the long run any mask at all doesn't help much if you are in a highly contaminated area. I agree it's better safe than sorry and a good face mask offers a little bit of protection..but mostly it's just there for peace of mind.

I legit think my house might be haunted
PhilosipherStoned replied to Distinct Lunatic's topic in Free-For-All
Also funny enough since I'm on the subject of paranormal and boogeyman tales I recently found out about an old wives tail..Not sure the origin of this anyway, but growing wysteria along the fences of your home is rumored to ward off demons and bad juju or whatever.. The house I bought came with a massive entanglement of wysteria growing all through the back fence that adds like another 2 or three feet to the length of my fence. It's also pretty when it blooms out. -

There's also something known as a lesser banishing ritual that's fairly easy to accomplish if you arent christian, or you don't want to involve any weird churchy people. It's a wiccan rite I respect because just by design while you are carrying it out it helps you to stay calm and overcome the fears associated with even thinking a place may be haunted. Burning sage helps a lot of people. I don't do much spiritual crap like that at all anymore, but I burn sage as incense and incorporate it into a lot of my cooking still just because it has a simular calming effect from nostalgia.
