    I guess the character designers couldn't come up with how a father inuyasha mother kagome,mother rin,etc could look besides changing out some of their old clothing for new ones like kagome,etc

    Yes,and I believe that's what give flcl its own form of idenitity from other anime. And like you said,these crazy sports of action can be seen in kill la kill gurren lagann,etc too though they're hampered down due to presenting a more serious story
