What happened to the Horror sub-forum? It was still here earlier this morning. Now, I come back only to see that it is gone. Anyway, in case you missed the video I posted in Horror, here it is once again. Yes, The Wallflower is in English Subtitles. It is a Shojo Horror Comedy about 4 pretty boy high school students, who live in a mansion. The landlord of this mansion asks Kyouhei, Ranmaru, Takenaga, and Yukinojou to help turn her niece (Sunako) into a refined young lady. If the 4 boys succeed, their landlord won't charge them for rent. If they fail, she will triple charge them for rent. Also, in case you didn't already know, Sunako is a spoof of the character Sadako from the original J-Horror film, Ringu. Ringu was remade in Hollywood as "The Ring," 15 years ago.

Glad you like it. I was starting to think I was the only poster here, who did.

Tokyo Ghoul:re Staff Revealed
PurgatoryGirl replied to PokeNirvash's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
Ah, so Uta does have a fan base. In a way, I sorta have to agree. He does have a significant role in the story, since he creates masks and is a part of the Clown gang with connections to Rize. When I hear the name, "Uta" I automatically think about a German girl by the name of Uta because it is also a German name. Speaking of, I see the admin just posted that gif I sent them above. Hehe! -

In case you're wondering about the latest gif in this sub-forum, it is a gif from the Shojo Horror Comedy, Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge. It is best known as "The Wallflower" in English. Last Sunday in the Horror sub-forum, I posted episode 1 in a thread. If you are open-minded, don't need to politicize everything, and are interested, click on the link below. http://unevenedge.com/horror/(anime)-yamato-nadeshiko-shichi-henge/ In the meantime...

Tokyo Ghoul:re Staff Revealed
PurgatoryGirl replied to PokeNirvash's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
That's the same impression I was left with, too. The season finale felt very incomplete. Earlier this month, I was talking to someone on an Anime site. He said this last season, that finished airing was a filler arc. I recommend reading the character summaries, if you don't read the Tokyo Ghoul Manga. You will have a much better understanding of the series by simply reading the character summaries and descriptions. The summaries and descriptions help clarify who each character and organization really are. It would've been a lot better had they spent more time explaining it in Tokyo Ghoul's Anime because there's too much confusion with so many random characters. -
Tokyo Ghoul:re Staff Revealed

Tokyo Ghoul is his new favorite topic to whine about besides the usual and another reason why I don't post in too many threads around this board. Just whine, whine, whine. Ugh! -
Christopher Walken Narrates Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven
PurgatoryGirl replied to PurgatoryGirl's topic in Horror
A little while ago, I finished watching the documentary about Poe. Even though Poe was a man whore, he had a lot of tragedies to endure and overcome. I'm reeling over the facts, that his works were published during the 1800's but were never copyrighted and that he cheated on his dying teenage wife, who had tuberculosis, with a poet. -
Christopher Walken Narrates Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven

In 2 more minutes, PBS is airing a special about Poe. This the only time I will watch PBS for anything. LOL! -
Yum

Several years ago, I stumbled upon actors, that narrated Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven. In the past, Vincent Price also did the narration for The Raven. However, I chose Christopher Walken's narration instead. Yes, I'm a Poe fan who somewhat lives up to the Goth stereotypes. So, sue me.
