What is the scariest thing that has happened to you?
PurgatoryGirl replied to Ginguy's topic in Horror
I also get creepy signals and messages from the other side letting me know, when someone is about to die or already died. Sometimes I miss the signals because things are so hectic on my end. That's if it's not a near death experience that person has or had. It's hard to explain and more difficult explaining to the skeptics/cynics, which is why I usually try not to discuss anything related to the paranormal with others. -
How could you not like Buffy? She was the star of the show. LOL! I would've listed more options but was limited to only posting 5.

What is the scariest thing that has happened to you?

A few years ago, I was in the bathroom getting ready to wash my face and change into my nightgown. Before I had the chance, the lid to my soap dish was placed on the bathroom floor. No one else was in the bathroom with me and I wasn't near the lid to knock it over. Over a decade ago, I was in the middle of working on my senior thesis, during the summer and the dining room suddenly became cold. It felt like a winter chill, which I thought was very strange. There was no air turned on. The room temperature just became very cold. Anyway, while working on my senior thesis, I felt someone's hand wrapped around the back of my neck like someone was trying to strangle me. Then, I jumped and felt the release of that spirit's hands. whut -

Where do I even begin? Ranging from stalkers to the paranormal, my life is like a real life horror story. -

Very few of us have been posting in here. As long as nobody intentionally derails Naraku's thread, we should be alright. -

You somewhat beat me to the punch. I was waiting to share the full song on Halloween as opposed to the radio edit version. -
We can't forget about Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice! >

Have you ever watched the show Hex on BBC, 10+ years ago? This song was featured in a scene.

Okay, ladies. No, this has nothing to do with the God-awful Twilight. If you were and still are a Buffy: The Vampire Slayer/Angel fan, which Sexy Vampire Team are you on? This was quite difficult for me. I love Angel, Angelus, and Spike. Grr!

This played on Buffy: The Vampire Slayer ~20 years ago, when Drusilla was dancing. It was all during the time, when Buffy was turning 17 and when she was about to lose her virginity to Angel. I still can't decide if I'm Team Angel, Team Angelus, or Team Spike. I love all 3 of them. Grr! -
If you have never seen this classic short from 1954, you should definitely give it a watch. This is an animated adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's "The Tell-Tale Heart."

I finally found this song. It's not exactly Goth or Industrial. However, I remember hearing this song years ago on the show Hex. Hex used to air on BBC, during the early 2000's. After all the hunting, I learned this song was by Helicopter Girl called "Satan's Seventh Bride." Anybody ever watch Hex years ago, or am I the only person here? -

Speaking of Static-X, this song can also be found on the Dracula 2000 Soundtrack. Before this Industrial Metal band, Wayne Static and The Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan were in a Goth Rock band called Deep Blue Dream. -

Too bad Jonathan Davis never had the opportunity to do that music collaboration with Aaliyah like they had planned for the Queen Of The Damned Soundtrack. After she was killed in that plane crash 16 years ago, he was devastated especially since Aaliyah told him, that she was a fan of KoRn. Meanwhile, Sony Music restricted Jonathan Davis from releasing his own vocals for the Queen Of The Damned Soundtrack. Because the movie and the soundtrack were under Warner Bros, he had to contact vocalists from the Warner Bros. Music Group to sing over his vocals. RIP Wayne Static of Static-X! RIP Chester Bennington of Linkin Park and Stone Temple Pilots! -

I completely forgot about the band, Apocalyptica. They originally started out as 4 cellists playing Metallica covers. Apocalyptica is considered to be Neoclassical Gothic Metal. -

More Coal Chamber. This was featured on the Bride Of Chucky Soundtrack. As much as I enjoyed the Child' Play franchise and wanted to buy those dolls from Spencer's to scare my roommates shitless with, that movie was so contrived. At least there were songs I liked off the soundtrack. -

Technically speaking, Stone Temple Pilots was a '90s Grunge band. However, before they were Stone Temple Pilots, they were called Mighty Joe Young. Originally, their song, "Only Dying" was going to be released on The Crow Soundtrack. After Brandon Lee was killed during the making of The Crow, the band changed their mind. They felt it would be in poor taste to release "Only Dying," after Brandon's death. Instead of featuring "Only Dying" on The Crow Soundtrack, they released "Big Empty" (which can be found on their 2nd album, Purple). RIP Scott Weiland & Brandon Lee! -
Here's another creepy short by Let's Read. When I originally watched this short months ago, it reminded me of Dr. Seuss meets Edgar Allan Poe's The Cask Of Amontillado in animated form.

Here's some more Stabbing Westward. "Waking Up Beside You" is not only on their Darkest Days album, but also The Crow: Salvation Soundtrack. It was also featured in the film. Honestly, The Crow 1 and 3 are the best films out the franchise. I can't believe that Hollywood is steady trying to remake the original. They're trying to spit on Brandon Lee's legacy. -
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. It was in the other folder but it got overshadowed by board drama. I'll have to share another creepy video in another thread.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It can be hard because most are very niche. The Goth Sub-culture is very broad, especially when it comes to music. Even though there were and still are bands, that didn't get the branding, they still attracted fellow Goths. -
Now that I think about it, maybe this should be moved to the Horror sub-forum after all. It looks like FFA has become the new Dumpster Fire. It would probably get better appreciation in Horror.

Hopefully, more of you come back and continue to keep Naraku's thread going. It kinda feels like I commandeered it. owo -
This board is looking so dead lately, that I decided to share this video. You may be wondering why I didn't post it in the Cartoons or Horror sub-forum. I posted it here because I thought more posters would be able to watch it. This Animated Horror Short is quite freaky. Let's Read, Axeman Cartoons, and Eden collaborated together for the short, 10 Two Sentence Horror Stories. 10 Two Sentence Horror Stories is a compilation of 10 Short Horror Stories, that are supposedly 2 sentences long with creepy narration. The animation for these 10 stories is scarier than the narration. "I Heard It, Too" is without a doubt, the best short out of this compilation of Animated Short Horror Stories by Axeman Cartoons. It actually feels like you are watching a Horror movie except it is an animated short.
