  1. Don't be fooled. Yes, I can be bossy, ball-busting, and demanding. However, I am NOT a man. Much like Hellsing's Sir Integra, who was born and raised FEMALE, I am a woman.
  2. I KNEW "Someday" released in the early '90s. It had to have been in either 1990, or '91. It wasn't until '97, that Mariah left her more conservative, good girl persona to become a "sexy," bad girl, while collaborating with Puff Daddy and Mase.
  3. What will Adult Swim air next April Fool's? A Hamtaro Marathon?
  4. I have Dish and there was no mentioning on the guide about FLCL or that movie.
  5. And at its regularly scheduled time! Airing it at an odd time was why my DVR cut off.
  6. The show is on right now. It wouldn't be so bad if the subtitles weren't delayed. What did DeMarco do? Rip this episode from Crunchyroll's media player? To make matters worse, my DVR cut off from recording it all thanks to this April Fool's Prank.
  7. So, are they actually airing our other shows now?
  8. It is very surprising to see English Subtitled Anime on Adult Swim. Throughout the years, they always made it a point to mock their Anime viewers with promos of Weeaboos cosplaying as characters from Adult Swim Anime. I have no problem watching Anime subbed or dubbed. However, I was expecting to watch Stardust Crusaders and Shippuden. As for FLCL, I was never a fan of the series years ago and still find the series to be overrated and hyped. There have been plenty of titles released over the years, that Adult Swim overlooked. While this movie airs, I will be watching something else.
  9. Yup, not that Asia especially Japan really needs Toonami, since we get Anime from them. I suppose they air some of our Action Animation on their block, too except dubbed in Japanese.
  10. Toonami is international and has been long before Cartoon Network canceled the block, years ago.
  11. They probably are using the Japanese VA's from Japan's version of the Toonami block.
  12. Looking forward to watching it tonight from the comfort of lounging on my bed and not behind a keyboard with complainers.

  14. Yeah, "Someday" was released in the early '90s, if memory serves me right. That was before Mariah Carey completely changed her image and became an extreme diva.
  15. Scroll to the last 2 minutes of "Someday" and you will hear what I'm talking about.
  16. The objective was to let you hear how loud her shrieking goes. LOL! Honestly, I forgot all about her Def Leppard cover.
  17. Considering that this character was named after Mariah Carey, she's not diva enough. She should've had a stand with a high octave range, piercing shriek of some sort, that was deadly. Just saying. LOL!
  18. Actually, no I haven't. Whenever I hear songs and watch music videos now with Ronnie James Dio in them, I start laughing and yell "It's DIO!" Dio Brando comes to mind these days. Generally speaking, the same applies to Lisa-Lisa, REO Speedwagon, Paula Abdul, Iggy Pop, etc. Watching their music videos on MTV Classic makes me laugh because I started associating them with JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. It makes me wonder if any of these artists and bands know, that there are Anime characters named after them.
  19. Dio's music video for "Holy Diver" just ended a few minutes ago on MTV Classic's Metal Mayhem.
  20. Watch the uncensored version of Hellsing Ultimate on YouTube, if you have the chance. There is indeed the scene of Seres Victoria's parents being killed and her mother's corpse was raped.
  21. Adult Swim censored Hellsing Ultimate's rape scenes, especially Alucard's.
  22. The only reason an Anime gets 12-13 episodes is because they are testing it out with their Japanese viewers. They are unsure how many will like and dislike it. In order for it to have a full season, it must be 23 or so episodes long. 12-13 episodes is only 1/2 season. If more Japanese viewers like the series, they will get an additional 12-13 more episodes. Just like American viewers dictate the ratings in our country, the same applies to Japan and other countries.
  23. I believe the main reason Toonami still exists is because it mostly panders to fanboys still clinging to their childhood nostalgia from the late '90s. When the block was launched on Adult Swim, fans spent most of their time throwing tantrums about not having the Dragon Ball, Naruto, and One Piece franchises. It seems like the ratings are only high for certain Shonen Jump Action Anime because Jason DeMarco spends most of his time catering to them. If It's not Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, etc, they don't want to watch it. They don't seem to like much of any Seinen Anime with ADULT characters. They would rather watch a more juvenile series with juvenile characters.
  24. Is this same poll on facebook? I deactivated my Twitter account a year ago.
