Well, where did you see it last?

I think mayches that are just 2 dudes wavedashing are exceptionally boring to watch, so Melee really never did it for me Ultimate had a pace closer to Melee but it actually looks like fights. It was the only Smash title that hit the sweet spot on being fast enough to be exciting without resorting to glitching out the entire game. Like, I can tell what Peach is doing in this. I would not be able to in Melee.

Yes.

I watched some Smash, mostly Ultimate. But I really only enjoy playing Peach, so Peach/Daisy players were the only ones I really followed in the competitive side. Then the competitive AND noncompetitive scenes got hit with scandals that basically destroyed my feelings toward the bulk of them, simultaneously with the people who didn't ruin my opinion of them lost interest in the game. Basically the perfect storm for me to step away, but I am craving Smash lately.

I was looking for a different, more relevant post, but this probably made me laugh harder than the one I was going for would have.
