Just posting my update here, too: Thank you for all the support! My had her operation on August 20th. It seemed to have gone well, but a complication occurred post-surgery which needs to be addressed with another operation. We don't currently have a set date, however it's neing expedited by the doctor and we expect it to be within 1-2 weeks. She's not able to see much at all currently and she's going to need more time off work and a longer than anticipated recovery. I want to keep her off work as long as possible. She tends to push herself too hard and prioritizes others over herself. We reached the initial goal ($2000, GoFundMe originally lowered the amount to 1600), and have received help from both this fundraiser, along with additional support from friends. We are not in dire straits thanks to everyone's help, however any and all further assistance would be deeply appreciated.
