Lobster tastes like nothing unless you smother it in butter. Then it tastes like butter. Gross, man.
And I wouldn't mind the taste of fish if it weren't for the oil and the repulsive texture.
People always tell me you shouldn't be able to taste the oil if it's high quality, but even on the coast I've never found a fish that didn't have the same gross oil aftertaste.
The meat itself would taste fine on its own (no oil), except the texture makes me gag.
