As far as i remember, theres no 30 lives code for 3....i remember getting the homing missiles in stage 1, standing on a ledge and taping the button down on a turbo controller to farm lives, then i would come back later and beat it. I can get as far as the overhead desert stage without dying (tho i have high potential to die when you have to missile hop in the sky in the stage before), but the goofy controls and wonky map make me just hemorrhage lives there. But the true last boss is kinda easy iirc (this is the one with the brain and the eyeball, right... I've played so many contras), just gotta get thru that overhead stage.

I play classics that I've already dominated without saves because im trying to beat my bests....games like Contra, Castlevania, Mega Man and so on, but shit I've never played, especially from the password era of games, yeah....saving. I dont have the time to git gud like back in the day

Ive subscribed to an embarrassing amount of "boxes" and one was for Japanese snacks. The first thing I found is that most of the "sweet" treats would not be sweet to the American palate. Which works for me because excessive sugar gives me a headache. Pocky was ok, and there were these yellow cookies that were just plain yellow slabs, but they were pretty good despite the presentation, but i also paid the extra 9 bucks to have mochi shipped to me. My weeby inner child thought this would be the ultimate smack....this is what they always eat for energy in JRPGs. Mochi fucking sucks. Its the dough....why just raw ass dough? My son (he was like 10 at the time) waited until i was gone and tried to bake some...he said "i really think they should be cooked but it has icecream in it...why didnt they cook it before putting icecream in it."...i simply didnt have an answer because i too, felt like it should be cooked. Most of the other stuff in the boxes that came was a mixed bag but since i dont know the names, i would just be describing shit wrong

Have you ever bought a bag of shredded fiesta cheese and just ate it out the bag....well put it in and on top of a tortilla with a little meat and cover it in black olives. I guess i can see why someone would like it but meh for me. But got a SB for later
