I use H&R block. I called to set up an appointment in March like I usually do the the local office said they aren't doing appointments, just drop off. I'm like I have some itemization and a few things I need to change. How can I do any of that dropping off. Of course the girl at the desk is like 25 and has no idea what she's talking about so I left and called the Block in the next town over. They said they do appointments. I told her that the one here is only doing drop off and she said she heard and a lot of their business is coming to them now. She said she has no clue how they got away with that but she understood that no everyone can just drop off some files and be done. So I got it handled, but WTF. Why would I pay a tax specialist to basically do an online file I can do myself.
