As much work as I did last night, my submission probably is last minute. Unless I come up with something perfect to add, which I highly doubt will happen.

I did an express order through DoorDash for an early lunch because I was starving and haven’t been to the store yet. Paid an extra $3 for it to supposedly arrive within 20 minutes. It took an hour. I want my damn $3 back.

And I have you to thank for it. 😁 You lit a much-needed fire under my butt, and I got it done a lot quicker than I thought I would. Finally getting the hang of this, I think/hope.

Also, I gotta say….considering that my submission went from less-than-an-idea to mostly-full-blown (a few missing quotation marks aside) story in just about 2 hours, it really wasn’t half bad….if I may toot my own horn. And I have a certain someone who PM’d me some inspiration to thank for that. Do I think it’s good enough to win? Eh…not for me to say. But as I’ve said before, winning is secondary to me. I’m just here for fun. Now, if everyone will excuse me, it’s almost 5am, I haven’t been to sleep yet, and this is the second super-long post I’ve made tonight….
