I went to the park late this afternoon for my nephew’s 6th birthday party. While I was there, a strange man approached me. He asked if I wanted a free rack of ribs. I’m not in the business of accepting food from strangers but he said my two favorite words: “free” and “ribs”. They were amazing. I accept whatever fate befalls me on this night.

There’s nothing quite like having to mourn the anniversary of a loved one’s passing while celebrating another family member’s birthday on the same day.

There’s a name I remember from way back in the day. Happy birthday!

I’ve been getting bombarded by both. But it is mostly Trump, now that you mention it.

I will never understand men with really long hair but absolutely no facial hair. My hair’s starting to get a lot longer than I like and shaving has become a complete bitch.

I’m at my absolute most content when I’m completely and utterly alone. That might say something about me mentally, but I really don’t give a shit.

Whew….. 2 of my 3 nephews are out of school this week, my sister has to work, and her husband is out of town until late tomorrow afternoon. As the closest living family member, it falls on me to babysit. I’m not complaining; I’m just exhausted.
