    Why do we still have marathons? Does it preserve something or extend programming somehow? Or do people need to be present for the block to run properly? I know networks take time off and shows take a hiatus but this isn't live or previously recorded TV. Marathons suck and feel super low effort.

    It's kinda crazy how wide that spectrum is in anime. You can resolve season long conflicts in a matter of minutes or just drag shit out endlessly like in One Piece. When you notice it immediately like in this episode it's a pretty bad sign though. No character development whatsoever
