Definitely underwhelming. Do not get me wrong, I love Toonami and watch whenever I can, but there has not been a lot going on for it this year IMO. Last thing I was really excited about was MiA. Still enjoy most of what has been on this year but wish we could have gotten something else kinda big. Looking forward to Uzumaki and hoping that we can pick up at least one other show. We shall see but not getting my hopes up.

I have been subconsciously craving the Fil-a lately and now you have reminded me and made the hankering conscious.. and they are fucking closed tomorrow.. Goddammit! haha

I too would prefer the block getting shows that I personally want to watch on Toonami (most of what I like is not as popular as your typical battle shonen that brings in all the numbers) but the first step to getting more budget and shows is probably getting the numbers up.. The reason that streaming companies do not want to sub out licenses to us is because there is no business incentive to. We only get like what, 100k-200k viewers a Saturday now anyways? Either way, the first step to getting more content would be getting the numbers up..

For anything that is not an exclusive premier, I do not see the numbers going up more than marginally. Even with a Priemer I am not sure how much better we will do. Will have to wait and see what AoT and Uzumaki do for us, I guess. Maybe AoT will see a decent uptick. Is it going to be the dub premier?

Everyone knows the block is not what it was even 5 years ago. The market and environment has changed greatly. It has nothing to do with Demarco, no matter how much we may not like him. There is no reason to even argue this anymore. I get it that you do not like it, most of us are saddened by it as well, but people have already given you the rational and more probable reasons for the situation we are in. If you do not like what Demarco and the block is doing, then simply stop paying attention to them.

Yea mine is the 5.3 too. I love it but everyone has their preferences haha the eco boosts are turbo, right? I test drove one of the Chevys last year before I bought mine and was surprised by how responsive it was but had basically already decided on the 5.3 haha
