based on personal experience ALL Sports manga are EXTREMELY gay except that the publishers say "NOPE THEY'RE ALL STRAIGHT" when fans call them out on how gay they are Yuri on ice was just the first sports anime to tell the fans "you're correct, they're all gay" when asked and then have the main characters propose marriage to eachother for emphasis

yes, she's like if Goten and Trunks were a gay couple and their Gotenks fusion didn't have a built in time-limit added a clip for emphasis

funny story about that bingo dance scene Super actually removed it from their adaption of the movie because it was horribly out of Character then proceeded to add a bunch of equally out of character stuff to all the anime original content for some reason
