everything else they've made is just.....a huge let down Code Geass was fucking horrible (and was basically just a Pizza Hut commercial) they had some gay manga called Legal Drug that kinda never really went anywhere cause they lost interest in it then after Legal Drug they made xXxholic which.....could've been a lot better than it was if they'd done several things differently and Tsubasa Chronicle which was basically a kingdom hearts fanfic with Clamp Characters I remember very little about Angelic layer....but that kinda says it right there and Blood C is also terrible....nice opening though I've never seen Magical Knight Reyearth but people say it's good, I should probably watch it

indifference is good in some context but bad in others on one hand you won't actively hurt us on the other, you won't do anything to help us if someone else tries to hurt us

a lot of anime and Manga featuring gay characters are also meant to appeal to straight women because women think guy on guy is hot there is the rare gay character that seems to have been written with an actual gay audience at least partially in mind (Yuri on ice to some extent and Bulaut in Akame ga Kill) but overall the average Japanese person feels one of 3 ways about gay people 1. they're entirely indifferent (best case scenario) 2. they think they can politely persuade gay people to not be gay by setting them up on blind dates with opposite sex people 3. they just pretend gay people aren't real there are some people in Japan who are genuinely okay with gay people though, the anime industry however stifles those people, like Hunter X Hunter's author
