this confused me too when I turned to Adult swim and saw AT.....my current theory is that it's because AT was nominated for an award by GLAAD (though aside from a kiss in the final episode I have no idea why)

Vic's not even that big of a loss for anime voice acting tbh, there's like 5 or 6 actors with similar voices and acting styles
