  1. Just like JoJo!
  2. Nope. Same manga author, but different studio. Fire Force is animated by Studio David, the same studio as JoJo!
  3. "Adult Swim’s line-up rated as follows: DRAGON BALL up 0.07 to 0.20/433K, JOJO’S BIZARRE ADVENTURE up 0.04 to 0.18, ASSASSINATION CLASSROOM up 0.03 to 0.18, BLACK CLOVER at 0.17/326K, FIRE FORCE steady at 0.14/277K, NARUTO down 0.01 to 0.13/247K, DEMON SLAYER up 0.01 to 0.14/264K, and GEMUSETTO MACCHU PICHU at 0.12/214K." Demon Slayer still doing exceptionally well at 3-ish AM!
  4. Ratings are in for "Cable Originals" for the last normal weekend of October, and JoJo had a solid network finish (for now): http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-10-24-2020.html A 0.2 (~140K) in 18-34? I'll take it. But what's really hilarious is how much better it did than Dream Corp. LLC in the same timeslot 24 hours later: http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-sunday-cable-originals-network-finals-10-25-2020.html #68 and 198K--in other words, JoJo Part 5's finale effectively DOUBLED its audience in the same timeslot the night before!
  5. I wouldn't mind that! Especially if it contained a gun-shooting vampire... Also, what the hell is up with this thread?? Why is it just a wasteland of Shonen-ai gifs!?
  6. Can't say I will watch the whole thing, but I'm sure I will watch some of it!
  7. Ummm, you mean "Promised Neverland Season 1 Halloween Marathon," right? We MIGHT have a Primal Season 2 marathon on November 6th, but it hasn't been announced yet.
  8. Yeah, I seriously doubt we will get a Thanksgiving marathon this year, and I also feel it's likely there won't be one on December 19th. Give AOT a little more time, I say. Run a marathon of some other show on December 26th (I really don't care what), but then marathon AOT Season 3, Part 2 from 12 AM-5 AM on January 2nd (or 11 AM-4 AM if Toonami re-expands), and then begin it on January 9th. That way the dub will be far enough behind that it should be doable to produce one a week but still break as need be and not fall too far behind. We might get a random movie event early next year, and that would be OK. Of course AOT is in a different situation from Black Clover. Since those episodes air on Toonami first, they would just be "in the can" once produced.
  9. I can't make any sense of this. My only guess is they actually DID lose the rights to it and are getting them back for one night only... ...but I don't think that's how it works.
  10. On that note, yeah, I'm ALWAYS masked up unless eating or drinking. Well, almost always. There was this one exception a few weeks ago, though! HE CUT THROUGH THE BOULDER!!!
  11. Nezuko has been stuck in hiding in her demon form for 2 years, fighting off every urge to eat people and rooting on her brother!
  12. Yes, that would be me. But to be fair, I really don't know of anything going on that late on Halloween yet. Most of the live music is earlier in the day. Tonight, on the other hand, I did make the sacrifice to come home early to watch Toonami. It would be fine to continue making that sacrifice if need be; I just feel like I should support the venues if they're going to be doing business. To me it's not about going to a bunch of bars just to socialize and get drunk--it's about the MUSIC.
  13. Yes. They had to. Hopefully, when the dub is ready in 2021, WE'LL be ready too! Remember, if you break your sword, he'll break every bone in your body!
  14. Japan dealt with the pandemic a lot better than we did, and we have the worst president in history to thank for that!
  15. Time to end the night with a demon-slaying slash!!! EPISODE 3: SABITO AND MAKAMO
  16. In case you forgot, Orochimaru was the main cause of all of this!
  17. That was actually a different GDB promo from the one that premiered tonight!
  18. I just noticed I never changed my sig. DAMMIT!!!
  19. It's not like JoJo didn't do the same thing. And both shows were produced by David Production. Coincidence? I think not.
  20. You know something funny? Tonight 5/7 shows have episode numbers displayed on-screen during the episodes: JoJo; Ass Class; BC; Fire Force; and Demon Slayer. I'm not sure that's ever happened before!
  21. His name is Burns, and he's a total hothead! This show is awesome but can be so cringey sometimes!!
