  6. Yeah, agreed. I didn't think it had led into last Saturday's Toonami, but it looks like it did. I hate that Primal was a ratings bomb, but it looks like it may have been. If there's a Season 2, I would expect it to get a worse timeslot.
  7. It would seem it may have done a little better, since it got a better lead-in than on Toonami. "Adult Swim’s late-night line-up performed as follows: DRAGON BALL at 0.21/393K, SWORD ART UNDERWORLD at 0.17, FIRE FORCE at 0.17, ASSASSINATION CLASSROOM at 0.16, GEMUSETTO at 0.12/0.11, NARUTO at 0.11/207K, and DEMON SLAYER at 0.09/201K." Well, unfortunately no rebound for the late night part of the block. And DBS at Midnight clearly ain't working!
  8. It actually happens quite regularly on Monday-Friday. They USUALLY rely on reruns on Saturday night, which are ineligible. But obviously Biden's acceptance speech changed all that!
  9. Well, predictably enough after the presumed Biden victory, news and sports dominated the Top 50 to the point that the 2 hours of Toonami that were eligible to make it missed it. That said, the anime premieres did OK, but then Gemusetto was down considerably: http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-11-7-2020.html It remains to be seen if Shippuden and Demon Slayer could escape from the abyss and manage to do alright, but we will most likely know later today, along with the Primal duo.
  10. The first episode, Asus4, was actually kinda intriguing. The robot frog Keith's tongue blocking Makasu's urethra was just stupid though. The second episode, not as much.
  11. In 2 years they'll be perfectly normal, 18 and 22. I do think it's funny that the main character isn't attracted to one of the others in his squad, but instead one random other squad who has kind of an antagonistic relationship with his squad!
  12. October 31, 2020 The Promised Neverland Season 1 Ratings: https://programminginsider.com/saturday-final-ratings-ohio-state-once-again-proves-its-ratings-prowess-on-abc-saturday-night-football/ Average of 181.7K total viewers and 120.8K adults 18-49. Not bad for a Halloween marathon. Nothing under 150K total viewers or 100K adults 18-49. Dead last for the year, but I don't care; it was nice just having the first season back on the air!
  13. Ironically, the 2nd episode of this and maybe the first half of Ass Class is really about all I saw live on Toonami last night. As someone with a robust social life, I rely heavily on my DVR to watch Toonami, especially during football season. However, I did not bother to DVR this because I knew it's getting an encore tonight at 1:15 AM ET (12:15 my time). Need to catch up on the first half, too!
  14. Funny, that show actually did fairly well on Syfy opposite the first half of Dragon Ball Super reruns on Toonami. Its season finale, which aired on October 24th at Midnight, actually got 344K total viewers, and a 0.12 in Adults 18-49, checking in at #61. Not bad! http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-10-24-2020.html
  15. Yeah, when she takes off her clothes, she takes them off deliberately, unlike Tamaki, who gets them knocked off randomly in awkward clumsiness!
  16. Just now saw it for the first time. Curse me for hanging around at a friend's burlesque show for a little longer than I had planned! Normally these things only last about 90 minutes, but this one began late and lasted until almost midnight! This was a really good episode for the most part. Could have done without the tentacle rape, though. I guess the only thing that saves it is this world is not quite real, so it's not as if Suguha's ACTUAL vagina was penetrated by Dee Eye Ell, whom I'm just as surprised as anyone to see actually lived. But I digress. Leafa's CMOA where she apparently beat Dee Eye Ell and Asuna's were awesome after beating a complete ass of a player with a hilarious one-liner, but the real star of this episode was the Bercouli/Vecta fight. More of that, please, SAO!! ANN didn't provide a review for this episode along; that's coming next week.
  17. I think they just lost the rights to DBZ Kai. If the original DBZ wins, will they REALLY pick that up just to make the marathon? Probably wouldn't be a horrible replacement for Family Guy next year!
  18. Episode 4: "Final Selection" Tonight (11/7/2020) at 3 AM Ending Toonami with a SLASH!
  19. Episode 91: "Which Universe Will Win Their Place? The Mighty Warriors Gradually Assemble! Midnight tonight (11/7/2020), kicking off an especially EPIC night of Toonami!!
  20. Episode 317: "Shino vs. Torune" 2:30 AM Tonight (11/7/2020) Come with us into filler hell! ONLY TOONAMI!!
  21. 2 AM - Episode One: Asus4 2:15 AM - Episode Two: A# Minor Makasu gets musical in the afterlife tonight (11/7/2020) on Toonami, with an encore performance from 1:15-1:45 AM tomorrow night on [as]!
