Thank God, because MLB just fell off a cliff and into oblivion. Season starting sometime in April, maybe. It did always seem kinda odd that opening day was during NCAA Basketball Tournament anyway though.

I DID watch some of the news coverage Saturday--before 3 PM. Basketball after that from 3-11 and then Toonami! I think with Toonami's audience it was probably more like Mardi Gras weekend partying that affected a bigger chunk of them vs. last week than the news.

Yeah, but not this weekend. Conference Championships will be a factor March 12th, though SOME of those are on Sunday. March 19th will be the most affected, and March 26th as well but a bit less so since it's 4th round vs. 2nd.

It's Fat Tuesday, a.k.a. But it did shut Toonami out of the Top 50 as I expected. The same sort of thing happened on 1/9/21 in the aftermath of the 1/6/21 insurrection, BTW. But that eventually cooled off and this will too, at least in terms of impact on the cable viewership landscape. Either that, or it will be the end of the world, so let the good times roll while we still can! ...and pray for Ukraine!

Yeah, it certainly helps that the sequel just happens to be a commercial break removed from one of the Top 5 hottest animated shows on the planet right now.
