Well, the weird thing is tonight's Rampage was actually NOT live! Let's see how it does!!

AEW has 2 weekly streaming shows on YouTube: Elevation and Dark. Putting some of those matches on [as] from 10 to midnight wouldn't seem to be such a terrible idea to me! Hell, the way this is going, we might even end up seeing topicals for the new Gundam show during BattleBots next year. That would be freaking smart!!

If my theory is correct, double Shippuden only lasts for one week and we get Yashahime Second Act next week, because it's around the same time its predecessor showed up last year. I hope I'm right.

Everyone is laughing, but actual network premieres of One Piece and Shippuden are far better than GITS or Fena reruns. Don't get me wrong: I want them to rerun at some point, but now is not that point.

Positives: still 5 premieres 12:30-2; no slot cut; blow through Shippuden filler faster. Negative: It's a full hour of Shippuden filler. Guess it's a double-edged Rasen Shuriken.

I caught it during American Dad AFTER AEW... For a moment there, I wasn't sure what channel was on! 🤣

That whole mess happened in the early fall of 2008. And to make matters worse, Syfy was airing the thrilling conclusion of Gurren Lagann at a very watchable 11 PM Monday nights, while [as] was airing Bleach filler and FMA reruns on Saturdays at 11 PM while burying Code Geass and Moribito at 5 AM! That DID kinda reverse in 2009, with Clone Wars taking the lead, Bleach for a full hour at 12:30, and Moribito at 1:30, but soon FMA took over the 1:30 and 2 AM timeslots, knocking Moribito back down to 2:30 for its conclusion, which aired once, never streamed, and aired no more! Also, during that 2nd half of 2009, THIS promo aired, and although it was completely condescending, at the time ASA fans were GLAD to get it: Damn, that WAS the Dark Ages!!

That would mean it's not premiering on Toonami, unless Toonami is moving to Thursdays, which is highly unlikely. I don't know if I should count anything a website called "Bubbleblabber" says as accurate though...

I still have hope for Attack On Titan Final Season Part 3 next year to conclude the series, because Toonami seems to have right-of-first refusal over AOT. I have similar high hopes for MHA Season 6, Dr. Stone Season 3, and Fire Force Season 3, though those may not be dub premieres. But no question Toonami is going through a rough patch right now when it comes to acquisitions. But I think 2 years ago was FAR more uncertain. I believe because this is similar, and because it HAS been longer-lasting, it seems a bit more concerning.

This doesn't seem to be very good news. The irony is that PRIMAL seems to be doing pretty darn good in the ratings right now. Doubling that up for a couple weeks might be preferable to a slot cut. Hopefully if a slot IS cut, it's just the 3:30 AM slot. If Lupin is inheriting 12:30 and One Piece IS moving up to 1, it's a shame they never reused that "shanty" promo, which mentions 1:30, one more time!!

Does the upcoming filler arc include random flashbacks to the Pain arc?

Seinfeld is a brand-spankin' new acquisition by Nick At Nite; that's why it gets to even show up in that chart.

Biggest Toonami rating of the year so far, unless I'm mistaken!

The late Koro-Sensei may have been riding Fang's compact T-Rex tail in his final days, but either way, whomever sneaks into that 12:30 slot the week after next has some pretty big octopus tentacle shoes to fill!! Lupin and One Piece cracked the Top 20 and all premiere shows at least made the Top 50! Wonder when either of those happened last? One thing's for sure: post-originals Toonami is on a surprising roll early this summer!

That IS bizarre!! What program was this during?? Oh, Young Sheldon!! Actually, Toonami ads during Big Bang Theory and its spinoffs does make some sense!

I'm honestly disappointed, but it's only somewhat surprising, considering this reviewer consistently low-balled the grade throughout his reviews. This was one of the finest anime series of the 2010's, right up there with such classics as Gundam IBO and Parasyte. And we were blessed that Toonami was finally able to get it in the early 2020's! Only one episode left to go, so don't cry because it's over--smile because it happened!!
