I was also too lazy to cook. I went and got JimmyJohn's. (I probably should've gone to Subway instead.) -
I wish there were Wikipedia articles about y’all

In all seriousness, I'd hate to see what was written about me. That is, if I had my own page. If I didn't have a page, thank God. -
I'm not saying watching it is a chore, per se. I'm admitting to being pulled in so many directions that it may feel like watching it is a chore even though it's not.
-
Hmm...That sounds fun, too. May have to check it out as well. For now, on with watching Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

No, I totally get it. Of course, I'm the most pretentious here. I have to be. I pretend to be anyone and everyone at any given moment because I am verpetas, you are verpetas, and we're all verpetas! Hail verpetas! -

I wouldn't mind if he came back and posted every once in a while. At the same time, however, he came off as pretentious at times during our discussions in TinyChat. (Vela knows what I mean.) -
I know what you mean, and I get why. Some people just love speed. (inb4 "shut up, Gemini!" lol)

In other news, a new theory has arisen, suggesting that this sort of thing is where we got the term "woody" from in order to describe an erect male penis. Also, boin-oin-oin-oin-oin-oing.

I'm going to write something for my basketball sim league then go to bed.

I don't know either. Not would I want to try.
-
I'm about halfway in. I just need to finish it and I was wanting to do it by the end of the weekend. lol Nope. I'll have to try again next weekend. lol
-
I keep meaning to finish Cyberpunk: Edgerunners before I play Cyberpunk 2077, but as Vela said in her posts, life keeps getting in the way. I swear I'm going to finish it one day.

I just ate dinner and I want dessert. brb
-
I...don't remember?
-
I'm "listed" at 5'9". *shrugs*

Be careful! (Please?)

I like Tool as well, but I need to listen to them more often. (And for what it's worth, Danny Carey was highly influenced by Neil Peart's drumming. I can hear it every time I listen to "the Grudge", for example.)
-
I appreciate that, man. And it's true. Rush really is the single greatest band to ever exist, at least in my opinion. (The Who and Dream Theater are pretty darn close, though.)
-
Eh, it's a matter of taste, I guess. Some prefer their earlier stuff, some prefer their prog-era synth stuff, while others prefer their '80s synth-heavy stuff, and others still probably prefer their stuff from, say, Roll the Bones all the way to Clockwork Angels. They have several eras, but they never compromised their musical integrity. They made the music they wanted to make, and if people listened and liked it as well, great. If not, that's okay. They were comfortable enough to say if people didn't like it, they could always go back to their normal lives. But because they did reach people in a way that most musicians didn't (building their fan base from the ground up through touring and word of mouth), they sold over 25 million copies of their studio albums. And each one of the three are (or in the case of Neil Peart, was, may he rest in peace) master technicians of their chosen instruments. And the fact it was just the three of them putting on virtually perfect reproductions of their music when they played live is even more mindblowing, especially the synth parts. So believe me when I say this: I will never, ever see a band like Rush again. Not in my lifetime, anyway.
-
I agree. Seeing them live was, for lack of a better word, epic! Still to this very day the single greatest concert I've ever been to. atomic: I like Zappa, but Rush is my favorite.
-
Hey, as long as you gave them a chance, that's all that matters. Oh! Speaking of "2112" (thanks for reminding me, T_a_o), Vela, you need to listen to "2112" sometime. I'll even send you the link of the particular video you should watch.

But I have good news: This band existed, and they're my most favorite band of all-time.
