Episode 112 had a video commentary (video of the Voice Actors in the studio with a PiP of the episode in the corner) featuring the episode writer, VA for Videl/Goten, VA for Spopovich, and VA for Gohan. And of course 1080p textless opening and closing. It actually makes sense that Goku helps others, both in his series, and for anime in general.

He's been dead multiple times, so you'd think he'd not find it to be that big of a deal after the fact. Granted, he has a kid now. But that's not why he's afraid.

Piccolo and co. got opportunities to shine. Just a another example that Toriyama is a bad storyteller. He's like George Lucas. Good at creating a deep, detailed universe. But bad at creating stories of it.
