Kinda disappointed the rest of Law's backstory, at least up to him curing his own terminal illness, was skipped over in favor of more present-day battles. Ah well, there's still forty episodes left, guess I can wait a little longer.

I like to think that, when I got all pissy at everyone who said that "everyone suddenly hates Rin now" in response to this episode eleven years ago (and to a lesser extent the three years before that), it was because they worded it like they were lumping Shiemi in with the others when she's the foremost exception to the rule. And even then, Bon did have a point with his rant; just 'cause they worked to help save Rin from immediate extermination, it doesn't mean any of them are necessarily cool with his flames, or his belief that he can switch them on and off in front of them all like it's no big deal. And for the survivors of the Blue Night, that goes double; more than double, in Konekomaru's case. Poor kid got triggered by them something fierce...

So yeah, that's why I decided against going into the discussion thread and dropping a rant about this.
