Season 3 Episode 1 - "Into the New World"

Loved season 2, especially the second half of the season with Kara. Been hyped for this.

Kara still looking cute.  New hairdo?

Wha... why didn't they just destroy the entirety of father's being?  Why keep a piece that can talk shit and potentially escape and regenerate himself?  Or was that all just in Kara's head?

Oh good, now those things are going to be evil too LOL.

Kara probably enough PTSD to not be able to bring herself to fully destroy the last component yet.

Oh good, I didn't miss anything by skipping last week. I thought Demarco would try to do something sneaky again lol.

Just couples... I mean... partners' cosplay.

Duuuude Jimmy don't start that shit.

Farm house... with dog... near a good school district.  Whoa whoa whoa hold up, Clark!

Guys/Girls, Didn't want to blow it up with its own thread but check out https://www.toonamiaftermath.com/ when you get a chance. To call it a complete live restoration of Toonami's best shows and years would be an understatement because it has more than that. I've been familiar with it for all of a week, but they have everything we loved over the years playing straight through on a consistent, packed schedule. There's also a very active chat community and multiple feeds/stations. It's kind of insane. I've already watched Outlaw star, Bebop, tonight and YuYu Hakusho, Kenshin, Ranma 1/2, etc etc during the week.

It's kind of overwhelming tbh.

* If you go to guide you can access the channels and west coast feed playing Outlaw Star rn.

Everyone is dead.  Can't be good.

Ian, they didn't listen to you again!

Jimmy just got Princess carried by his crush. 🤣

Lex. Of course. So much for all those good vibes they had going. You know somebody's gotta ruin all that. Who better than Lex?

And....here we go.

So now this little nature preserve slice of Krypton will be destroyed?  Well, I suppose if there was ever a breach, you'd have massive invasive species problem.

I've got a line for you Jimmy:

"This candy is almost as sweet as you, Kara!"

😄

It's Halloween, he picked the perfect time to escape haha.

Aww the little girl gave him candy.

Caliban?  Don't think I'm familiar with that character.

Somebody's gotta ruin it!  Damn it!  Lex is a tech bro CEO douchebag now.  We need something to happen that causes him to go bald that modern hair treatment won't fix LOL.

Damn, definitely overwhelming, I could end up watching too much (definitely would have back in the day), it's bad enough getting shit done let alone on work days as it is with daily youtube and streaming lol.

Love when Lois calls him Smallville. Always takes me back to Smallville the series and Erica Durance saying that line.

I never watched Smallville for the same reason I never watched Gotham.  I'm not really interested in watching a whole series about a character's life from before they were a Superhero and are just a regular dude.

But I remember this reaction video from back when it ended and man it is HILARIOUS.

Seems pretty cool and I'm glad someone did this, but I'll probably just stick to watching anime as I usually would with streaming services etc, and check out clips of Toonami stuff and Toonami retrospectives here and there.

I don't know how, I figured maybe I've watched over a hundred shows in my life.  But during my binges to watch shows I had planned to watch for years along with newer stuff that I've been doing the past few years, combined with everything I watched on Toonami, Adult Swim Action, Sci-fi, DVDs, VHS, streaming etc over the years... I've watched 547 shows for a total of nearly 15,000 episodes?!  Yep I am terrible at math and didn't think it was anywhere near that. 😄

And apparently I added 277 on my Plan To Watch list. 😄

I finally stopped being too lazy to log into my MAL account a few months ago and added a bunch more stuff and was flabbergasted at the numbers haha.

The service robots still being voiced by Brainiac is wild for comedy 🤣

Along with what one of them said at the end of that scene, having that voice too makes them sus right from the start haha.
