scoobdog Posted May 15 Posted May 15 The fastest I've ever gone downhill was like 49MPH on the highway between Lompoc and Buelton on my road bike. Even on smooth CalTrans asphalt, it was sketchy as hell - like one misplaced piece of gravel was going to sent my flying down the embankment. Plus, that was like 40 miles into a half-century. I have no idea how the professionals do it on the Alpe D'Huez. 1 Quote
