Jman Posted February 4 Posted February 4 (edited) From the single episode preview I saw at NYCC, this feels like an “Adult Swim anime” in a good way, in a way Rick and Morty, Ninja Kamui, etc, never did. Edited 5 hours ago by Jman Quote
Toonamiguy321 Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Huh, that’s kind of a weird time for it to start, as Primal should run till March 21st. Not that I’m going to bat for that rerun, it just seems like sloppy scheduling. 3/14 is the night Bleach ends I think, guess it makes sense having a Viz show replace a Viz show. I suppose Primal could be less than 10 episodes, though they never make Genndy pinch pennies. Maybe a back to back finale? Quote

You're right, Bleach should end on March 14th. 54 minutes ago, Toonamiguy321 said: I suppose Primal could be less than 10 episodes, though they never make Genndy pinch pennies. Maybe a back to back finale? If that happens, then the season finale of Primal would make its linear premiere at 1 AM, making the Sunday night airing an instant rerun. I have doubts that would be the case. In the event that's what happens, however, then I can see One Piece doubling up that week, giving Blue Lock and Tokyo Revengers the night off. So yeah. You win some, you lose some. Quote

I do believe Bleach ep 40 airs on March 7th finishing the 3rd cour. Also that night RAMTA finishes it's rerun cycle. So that's an opening for both dub and sub and Primal would shift to 12:30 for the last two episodes. This makes for a nice birthday present for Toonami and perhaps Dan Da Dan will resume when Primal ends. 1 Quote

Quite the contrary, this is a beacon of hope. It looks like this is more of a Space Dandy situation, where AS isn’t paying to work on it, but rather paying to secure the premier. Which would mean this won’t have Demarco’s usual kiss of death on it, and they won’t maintain the rights forever so it’s reruns don’t get beaten to death. Quote
