Paramount buys Warner Bros Discovery in deal set to reshape Hollywood

Welp, there goes CNN. I stopped watching them a while ago, but I know people for whom it's still their primary news source. Funny thing is, I own a small amount of WBD stock, and just got in the mail a notice to vote about approving the Netflix deal. I was going to do it tomorrow, but guess now i don't need to bother. Anyway, there was no real good way for this to ever go I guess. Just more of a choice of what was the lesser of two evils. Sadly, I think the greater evil prevailed.

2. Both companies collapse under giant debt

3. Both companies get sold off for a bargain price to cover essential expenses

4. Netflix gets them both for pennies on the dollar

Which is weird, if it pays that much, you would think it’s in high demand. Yet adding “professional complete and total fuckup 24/7” to my resume has not gotten me any calls.
