I watched Yugioh "Zero" for the first time and been watching the Duel Monsters series in Japanese for the first time. But I'm on the last arc now. BUT we're finally back. Dark_Cloud_Overhead Posted July 20, 2025 Posted July 20, 2025 This show is really making me nostalgic for old original Dragon Ball when Goku was just palling around with Krillin and Bulma for the most part. Only now he's got Supreme Kai and Glorio. Glorio is kinda grumpy like Bulma actually, so in a weird way the dynamic is kind of the same. 2

I was going to watch that until I found out about something that happens in the first episode - Spoiler The first episode is a rapisode, and presumably the rest of the show will be dealing with a rape faction, like the goblins from Goblin Slayer. That stuff was bad enough in SAO, but at least those rapists got chopped into pieces pretty quickly. These guys will overarching villains. Ugh. Hopefully it's not as bad as that scene came across as.
