Refs have a way of yanking your chain.  The Bush Push game was the same;  Notre Dame fans were ecstatic when the clock expired, but the refs had to put three seconds back on the clock and the rest is history.

I'm proud of the CFP Committee for realizing 11-2 and a conference championship loss was more justifiable than a 9-3 team that wasn't in a conference championship game picking SMU over Alabama.
