Wish it wasn't just for comedy purposes that Orochimaru was afraid of Tsunade in combat like that. She always got downplayed between these three, just like Sakura, despite being Hokage. Dammit Kishimoto.

For better or worse, Kishimoto did the old trope of "this person is too strong so we gotta take them out of the equation" thing, when Pain attacked.  So he at least acknowledged her strength even if he didn't let her fight.
