DangerMouse Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Hange's finally admitting her mistakes this ep more than all last season. That can't end well. 1
ben0119 Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Hange is retiring and passing command to Armin. Fucking hell. Well, at least she gets to get up close and personal with some special Titans in her way out. Hahaha Armin is Levi's superior now. 2 1
CountFrylock Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 44 minutes out of one hour and thirty minutes.  There’s still so many commercials left… 1
OwlChemist81 Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 Well, I guess that's what the afterlife is like in AOT. First time we've actually seen it! 1
ben0119 Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 (edited) Holy animation! I guess the gas they use for the ODM gear is flammable. Damn it. What, she survived?! I guess Hange didn't get stepped on after she fell. No, that's not it, this is some sort of afterlife. Hey there's Erwin! Edited September 10, 2023 by ben0119 1 1
OwlChemist81 Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 What was Chapter 1 called? Does anyone remember? "Chapter 2: Sinners"

No, I don't think he settled on this one after experiencing the options, I was thinking that the way said that made me feel like he made a choice that solidified this path and even when he tried to change certain things from his vision prior to activating the rumbling nothing he did could alter any significant events from changing how they played out like his reaction to Sasha's death and at some point gave in. OwlChemist81 Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 Wow, Conny with a bit of introspection here! 1
ben0119 Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Interesting that this plane looks like something from World War II, but it has two wings like a World War I plane. But I wouldn't be surprised if a design like this actually exists. There were so many different plane designs back then. 1

Remember they even vaporized the crew on those ships in the last season finale, just from swimming under that fleet. Edited September 10, 2023 by DangerMouse 1
ben0119 Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 LOL yeah Eren will be talked down at this point. Zeke is in the Founder? I thought Eren just took his power and killed him or dumped him somewhere.
AnimationFan14 Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Random question but did Hange have both eyes again in Heaven because that would be fucked up if she didn't Â

No, I rewound and she hadn't removed her eye patch yet. But maybe when she said "I see," that was a double-entendre? 2

Oh ok. From what I saw, it seemed like the flames got to the gas tanks and then ignited. But you might be right. I can't remember if it was ever said if the gas was flammable or not, but it would be pretty ridiculous to only reveal that now, if it hasn't been said before, especially since it resulted in a major character's death. 1
DangerMouse Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Yeah, Reiner knows that one. He almost did it.
OwlChemist81 Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 Even Mikasa can't get to him! 1
DangerMouse Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 ROFL Levi "One good kick in the ass"Â 1 1
ben0119 Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Would the other countries stop because of how much this destruction terrified them, or would they just take longer to build up their forces and want revenge even more?
OwlChemist81 Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 So that's the theme of the show? Freedom??
DangerMouse Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Damn he made them circle all the way around back to where they started. 2
OwlChemist81 Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 Damn, Armin is put in the worst of situations!
ben0119 Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Eren is too stubborn and won't change his mind about this. So Eren could use his powers to stop them but is choosing not to? Eren won't be stopped unless they kill him. Fuuuuuuuck. 1
ben0119 Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Falco might have a Titan with a flying power?!
OwlChemist81 Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 So the Jaw Titan can fly! I guess this is the last commercial break of the special?

Yeah, if he refuses to stop it's definitely weird that he's purposefully not stopping them. 2

OwlChemist81 Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 I guess it's because Falco got some of the Beast Titan, he has some Beastly properties! None of the other Jaw Titans, like Galliard or Ymir, had that disntinction. 1

I guess what Reiner said was right. Eren feels he has gone too far to turn back, so he wants someone else to stop him, if they can. I think. Haha. 2
DangerMouse Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Gotta admit, I was disappointed with Hange's time as leader. I expected her to do better. 1
OwlChemist81 Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 Remember back when the late Fuhrer Bradley A.K.A. Ed Blaylock had a bit part late in the first season? Is that the same character with a new voice? 1
