Driving home from work, when this commercial comes on the radio.  I didn't catch what the product or service was, because I heard this voice and immediately I knew I'd heard it somewhere.  I was pretty sure that it was from some cartoon.  It took about a minute, before I realized...

Billy West has found new work.  Glad I figured it out or it would have bugged me for a few days.

Billy West has been doing commercials for a while (how long a while I have no idea). He's the red M&M, and at some point was the Honey Nut Cheerios honey bee.

This was some nothing product.  Almost sounded like a local thing, not national.

I read once that he fell on hard times a while back (drugs and such).

That's a good question, lol.

Did you not hear about all the hullabaloo a year or two ago how they got all the original cast on board except John DiMaggio who was holding out for more pay (claiming the entire VA cast deserved more pay)? Eventually they came to an agreement and its in production. Don't think it's debuted yet.

I’ve either been living under a rock for the past year or two, or I did hear about this and simply forgot.

Probably the second option. That happens more than I care to admit. 😄
