Jack rescues a mother and daughter from several bug robots and defeats Scaramouch, a fast-talking musical robotic assassin (styled after Sammy Davis Jr.) who has destroyed a village to get Jack's attention. Meanwhile, seven young girls are raised and trained from birth to become the Daughters of Aku, a team of elite assassins with the sole purpose of killing Jack. Tonight Jack's will to survive is pushed to it's absolute limits after a deadly unseen foe launches a relentless surprise attack. So grab your loved ones and tune in tonight for a brand new episode of the long awaited fifth season of Samurai Jack Gotta get back Only on Toonami back to the past
Meilag32 Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 Just by a hair Yeah well, for hot shows on Toonami, a hair is all the difference in the world.
3ngag3 Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 It's gonna be hard to watch this with the Power Rangers marathon on Twitch
Gyaos Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 I got the day off early. Like, 5:00 PM early. That's rare. So I'm caught up. And excited.
Gyaos Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 Lol, I was worried that Aku would be hidden for much of the beginning of Season 5. Glad that's not the case.
Meilag32 Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 Aku looks bored with being ruler of the world. Also, not a fan of Aku's new VA, but it's sad they had to get a new one.
mochi Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 Greg Baldwin's Mako Impression continues to be amazing
AnimationFan14 Posted March 19, 2017 Author Posted March 19, 2017 Aku "Yes, but how does that make you feel about killing Jack"
mochi Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 Aku looks bored with being ruler of the world. Also, not a fan of Aku's new VA, but it's sad they had to get a new one. I actually think it's spot on it just sounds younger than mako because the voice actor IS younger than Mako was
Meilag32 Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 I'M HERE! I'M HERE *breath* Going with the fashionably late entrance, I see.
Gyaos Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 Reminds me of Mad Max, with Eastern artstyle influences.
DangerMouse Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 I actually think it's spot on it just sounds younger than mako because the voice actor IS younger than Mako was Yup. Those yells when he got worked up for a couple of moments there and both Akus were yelling together were spot on too.
Meilag32 Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 JESUS CHRIST!!! Did you see the mouth on that thing? It was like a goddamn crocodile!
DangerMouse Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 I'M HERE! I'M HERE *breath* Slow and steady on the breathing, good timing, the fun has just begun!
The1gairon Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 Remember the enemy is just Oh boy is that tempting fate or what???
mochi Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 if Samurai Jack is Legend of Zelda than this Reboot is Breath of the wild
Gyaos Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 You know you're going mad when you are speaking to your younger (?) self.
The1gairon Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 This visual is GENIUS. Everything in this show is beautiful.
DangerMouse Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 The special effects animations are sooo good.
Meilag32 Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 You know you're going mad when you are speaking to your younger (?) self. And your younger self is suggesting suicide.
mochi Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 are the Bumps tonight slightly different? also GORAN NO SPONSER NO TEIKYOU DE OKURISHIMASU!
Meilag32 Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 is Jack gonna Kill his first human tonight? Jack needs some sage advice.
The1gairon Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 I Love the parallel between the hero and villain. Both talk with themselves, but in different ways, and in vastly different tones!
saito34 Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 Genndy directed this episode and I'm liking it better than the opener. Anyone notice who directed last week?
The1gairon Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 are the Bumps tonight slightly different? also GORAN NO SPONSER NO TEIKYOU DE OKURISHIMASU! When did you learn Japanese?
DangerMouse Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 I Love the parallel between the hero and villain. Both talk with themselves, but in different ways, and in vastly different tones! Yeah.
