AnimationFan14 Posted March 19, 2022 Share Posted March 19, 2022 (edited) The Final Season Part 2 Episode 81 "Thaw" for* Rumbling We last took a dive into the past of Ymir and how a trip into an ancient tree lead to a deep pool, where a creature tuned her into the first titan. While Zeke told Ymir to start the euthanization plan Eren started a desperate attempt to free himself from his chains, which lead to him approaching Ymir with a choice. A choice to stand with him and take back the world from everyone while no longer being forced to serve those with royal blood. Ymir for the first time is given a option of free will instead of imprisonment. After Ymir sides with him, Eren with her help takes the form of the original titan, while thousands of colossal titans are released from the walls. Eren then @s(talks to) all subjects of Ymir through the power of the Paths to announce his plan to eliminate all life outside the island. The power of the rumbling as channeled through Eren's personal mission has thrown the world in chaos and it's everyone left still alive to figure out what to do next.
