Zack Snyder expresses interest in directing a Dragon Ball film, internet politely tells him no thanks

I've made plenty of jokes that Man of Steel is a Dragon Ball movie, but he is the worst choice possible.  Dragon Ball when you get down to it, revels in how absurd it can be, while Snyder is really serious and straight laced about his work.

If anything, I’d imagine Snyder is more enamored by the flanderizarion of Goku as a jolly deadbeat who distracts himself from his broken home by constantly fighting those around him.

Why can't the Wachowshki's just do it? They got the fight choreography down in The Matrix films and Speed Racer was a success. It's a perfect fit.

I'm starting to get the feeling James Gunn maybe the only person in Hollywood capable of pulling Dragon Ball off.

Although I still think it's the one property that absolutely unadaptable for live action, but feel free to prove me wrong.
