I actually missed some of the comedy bits and need to rewatch sometime. And no, Tamaki didn't get screwed by her Lucky Lecher Lure this time! I don't know why she wasn't sent along on the mission. I guess they needed to have some competent people stay behind in case anything happened, and to deal with regular fire soldier duties.
