Jman
Here’s the trailer. Presumably Toonami bound.

Ginguy
Too bad the story took a serious dump on itself. Still, a good chance it will help Toonami's line-up and ratings.
OwlChemist81
I believe in THIS environment, we can count on the first dubbed episode to premiere on 1/2/2021!
Sketch
I wonder if the late (in the Fall season) air date of December 7th will allow FUNi to the first two dub episodes by December 12th. Maybe Toonami could do a special premiere on that Saturday before the inevitable holiday marathons the last two weekends in December. Otherwise Toonami will probably have to wait until mid-January or early February to start airing Titan uninterrupted. They probably won’t be able to get the dub premieres due to FUNi’s staggered dubbing schedule. If the contract ensures Toonami gets the dub premieres, it would force FUNi to delay releasing the dub until at least mid-January and I just don’t FUNi doing that.

Another factor that could effect its release is the VAs taking time off for the holidays. December is a really bad time to start a new anime. Considering that alone and it historic release pattern, it wouldn't be too outlandish to suggest that the dub will come out the second or third week of January
Blatch
Attack on Titan is the kind of show where I would expect the production company to work with Funi to get the dub out as early as possible. This season will be a particular challenge because they'll have to get the cast set up to do recording at home, some of whom probably don't live in Texas. I expect dubbed episodes to drop the same week as the sub, just like last season, as well as a possible delay later on after which they come out one or two week afterward. As for how this might affect Toonami, they could fit it in with a premiere on the 12th and lead off the block with a new episode a week later before a holiday marathon. But considering that the last two seasons didn't air until after the simuldub was off and running, I'm not counting on it.
MasqueradeOverture
How fitting they choose to premiere on fucking Pearl Harbor day.

The last 2 seasons had a few episodes premiere in theaters or at a con, but they always aired before streaming. They were never day and date sub/dubs either. It’s always been about a month behind
ben0119
So now it will be Titans mixed with World War 1 level technology. That's quite a departure. Though we shouldn't be surprised I suppose. Hopefully it will be a good conclusion. I won't even try to speculate on the release schedule. We'll get it when we get it. Bryce, Matt Mercer and basically anyone else from LA in the dub are already recording other anime from home so it shouldn’t be more difficult to include them than usual. But it will be just as much of an endeavor as any other show right now.
The1gairon
Man. i used to be so fascinated at how Mike MacFarland would cast actors in two states for one show! Sigh...
