I got pizza hut delivery for dinner last night and I got half a gallon of iced sweet tea and its too much sugar its way too sweet

I stopped getting sweet tea at places because of this.

The conundrum is that unsweetened doesn’t taste the same if you mix your own sugar, but sweetened is pure corn syrup.

I would of just got un-sweet tea and put my own sugar in it, but I'm in a new apartment and need to go supply shopping still

Could be a supersaturated solution.  One more granule of sugar and all the sugar within would precipitate out.
