the air vents in the backrooms of the house have to be clogged with something, because it is always hot back here.

I need to get the hvac guy to come out and blow them out, but they want a lot to do it.

I could bring in the air compressor but I'm afraid I'd fuck something up.

I know a pretty decent HVAC guy that you could ask, assuming he didn't die from taking his 2 Benadryl

I'm assuming the filter is new.

Check the blower fan inside the unit in the house and make sure the blades aren't caked with dust. They also can wear down over time, so the motor itself could just be weak.

If you can access it, check the A-coil inside of the unit inside the house (easy way to find if it's not obvious is to follow the big and little copper lines into the heat exchanger and viola). If the coils are somewhat dirty, that can be the issue.

Make sure your ducting doesn't have any little flaps in it leading up to said vents that haven't closed over time (usually located in the basement.) They look like a small metal tab on the side of the ducting.

I'm basing this off of the average things I have dealt with, but I hope it helps.

I'll check it out. The shit is all old. The inside setup is from the 70's. It's all in a closet in the room I'm sitting in now. This room joins our bedroom which is the room that's so hot. Everywhere else in the house is cool. And I have no idea why, but it's cooler back there during the day. At night is when it's a bitch. Got my sleeping habits all jacked up.
