man, they built her into a good character. how will she win.

still, i thin i'd prefer to see more anime girls defeat men in combat instead of always being matched against other women to prove themselves

Well she kicked Solid's stupid ass and that was immensely satisfying.  She did lots of damage to Vetto, but he was broke as fuck.  Don't think I have seen too many villains have that many fakeout deaths and roided up recoveries.

Also this elf just whipped Nozel.

Now Noelle feels free! :)

Armor like her mother?

Reversed the compass and broke through it!

Hah I saw this as fan art and didn't think it was a real spell.  So I sort of avoided getting spoiled that way.

Why is Solid just standing there?

Nozel is getting up after being impaled multiple times?

Fortify himself with mercury magic?  Wouldn't that poison him?

Did Noelle just send her sea dragon into the trap so it would bounce back at double power and hit the elves?  Pretty clever!

I gotta watch this ep again!

Yup, it was also the stuff they had totally mess with Korra in the S3 finale and last season of LoK.

There was mercury in that show?  Lol.

I think the author just wanted Nozel to have liquid metal without really thinking about the properties of mercury.  Because they really haven't played up poisoning on enemies either.  Or maybe it doesn't poison him because it's his own magic.  I dunno lol.

Yup, there was some pretty dark stuff in S3 like this (and a certain use of airbending), not sure they ever confirmed it by name, but they didn't need to, it was liquid metal and used as a poison on her to try to kill her in the Avatar State. And the after effects were some of the seemingly known effects of mercury poisoning.
