Jman Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 This was such a divided thing back then. It was TV-14 (that’s good!) but live action (that’s bad). Still, the Faithful got to see Jack Nicholson at the museum so it’s worth it. Quote
Top Gun Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 In a world in which The Dark Night was made I can't even with that movie. Quote

MasqueradeOverture Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 You see, The Dark Knight and Batman '89 are dead even for me in terms of best Batman movie ('89 having the better atmosphere/score/set design and TDK being slightly deeper in terms of its writing/themes). Quote

I know a ton of people grew up with the Jack Nicholson Joker, but I never saw the movie when I was younger, and it really doesn't do anything for me now. To me the Joker was always Mark Hamill, and then later Heath Ledger. Edited January 27, 2020 by Top Gun Quote
Gyaos Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 I didn't see this movie until 2016, so I would have remembered this probably. This is actually pretty cool. Almost makes me wish Toonami had done things like that more often back in the day. Quote
OwlChemist81 Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 Well damn, I didn't know live action movies had been on Toonami before. Kinda boggles the mind why Toonami never did this with TNT DC blockbusters in the 2010s! Quote
