Remember that time Toonami aired the Tim Burton Batman movie?

This was such a divided thing back then.  It was TV-14 (that’s good!) but live action (that’s bad).

Still, the Faithful got to see Jack Nicholson at the museum so it’s worth it.

You see, The Dark Knight and Batman '89 are dead even for me in terms of best Batman movie ('89 having the better atmosphere/score/set design and TDK being slightly deeper in terms of its writing/themes).

I know a ton of people grew up with the Jack Nicholson Joker, but I never saw the movie when I was younger, and it really doesn't do anything for me now.  To me the Joker was always Mark Hamill, and then later Heath Ledger.

I didn't see this movie until 2016, so I would have remembered this probably. This is actually pretty cool. Almost makes me wish Toonami had done things like that more often back in the day.

Well damn, I didn't know live action movies had been on Toonami before. Kinda boggles the mind why Toonami never did this with TNT DC blockbusters in the 2010s!
