little_girl_lost
I wasn't feeling well last night and I got sick this morning. I still feel like shit, my insides are in turmoil and I feel all lightheaded. I had to change my bedding this morning and it took me hours cuz I had to lay down for a half hour between layers. And I have to be at work in an hour, FML.
cyberbully
Is your job one with a really fucked up call in policy. Because most places will send you home if you come in sick anyway. RainyDayJizz#35
Stay home. I've found rest is more beneficial than most things when I'm sick.

But that wouldn't matter anyways because I'm the boss there and there's work that needs done today that only I can do. On top of that, I'm supposed to train a brand new person today and I dont trust the kid working today to train a new hire right.

I'll try to cut out early after my work is done, but that still takes a few hours, more so when I have to take frequent breaks to keep from passing out. I have Thursdays and Fridays off, so I'll be spending all day in bed, trying to keep down chicken soup.

Well, if you drink copious amounts of water (with electrolyte tablets if you have them), you might be okay for a few hours. The problem is that fever means you're contagious.
little_girl_lost
I've been drinking Propel, I know it's not the greatest but it's better than a lot of things. I'm not worried about being contagious, I'm not coughing or sneezing and a lot of my coworkers bathe in hand sanitizer anyway.
scoobdog
A mask might be a good idea, just in case. But, good luck.

little_girl_lost
last night I threw up a milkshake, the only thing I ate yesterday. and was laying in bed all night with stomach cramps. this morning I went out and got a bunch of campbells condensed soups and saltines. We'll see if I can keep that down.
cyberbully
Think I'm about to follow in your footsteps. I'm not "sick" at all....But my body temp keeps rising and dropping and my entire body aches....Things are looking bleak. So how did you ever get since you had the last 2 days off.
