pail
If you've ever been bored and on YouTube for several hours, you've probably encountered this channel at least once. They are notorious for making list videos, usually following a Top 10 or Top 5 format, about relatively normal, accessible, banal topics. I'll just take a few titles from their past week of uploads for a general idea of what topics they tend to talk about, if you still need a better idea of what denominator this particular channel is attempting to pander towards: "Top 10 Scariest Moments in Games for Kids" "Top 10 Most Poorly Acted Movie Deaths" "Top 10 Anime Ladies That Will Probably Kill You" "Top 10 Creepy Celebrity Suicide Conspiracy Theories" "Top 10 First Person Shooters of ALL TIME" (The all CAPS at the end of the title denotes officialism, I believe) So you already know, or now understand, the general premise behind this channel. Over the years this channel has managed to accumulate close to 14 million subscribers. However, if you take a look at their view counts as of late, their videos are reaching nowhere close to 10, or in most cases even 5, percent of their subscriber count. Link to their video page (Don't visit unless you want these showing up in your notification panel. Or use a sock account.) - https://www.youtube.com/user/WatchMojo/videos Looking at the viewer stats for each video, going back two weeks, only one video even manages to crest above the 10% mark (2,148,000 views). The rest are in the few to several hundred thousands of views (mostly). Still impressive numbers to be sure, and surely enough to keep bringing in the ad revenue bucks, but not reaching their audience (at least intended audience) at a rate higher than 5% of their subscriber count most of the time. I always had a feeling that this would be the eventuality of this channel. A husk and shell limping along like a geriatric, dubiously looking back and forth at their bottle of heart medication and the night sky. The only fate I can foresee for this channel is more of the same. Scraping by, wavering contentment, possibilities of increased desperation and eventually... death. How long this will drag on is on the content creators and their superiors at this point. How long will they keep their creation on life support? Only time will tell. bnmjy
I watched this one video, "Top Elliot Rodgers moments," and it had the watchmojo logo at the beginning. It was fucking hilarious. Sadly, youtube took the video down.
pail
This is why I don't effort post much. But I'm not going to email the creator telling them something they already know. It's not like I have any ideas for revitalizing their channel.

Ric
They do lazy top 10 lists(this is not a problem, but....) and have been caught more than once stealing footage from smaller Youtube channels. Watch Mojo can go ahead and die completely.

naraku360
Watch Mojo is lazy, dumb, and much bigger than it should be. Not unlike Bucket in those respects.
