We learned that far in the past, there were hopes Elves and humans might live at peace with the marriage of Licht to Tetya, and her pregnancy. Unfortunately, the wedding is attacked by a light magic user that Patry assumes is Tetya's brother, having betrayed them. Licht cast a resurrection spell, and years later, Patry finds himself possessing the body of Vangeance, and looking exactly like Licht. He takes on the persona of Licht and finds Fana, Vetto, and Rhya, and forms the Eye of the Midnight Sun, vowing revenge on humanity and with plans to revive more elves.
