Naraku4656 Posted October 5, 2019 Author Share Posted October 5, 2019 9 minutes ago, fuggstop said: Lol wow u collected them or something? no. i usually cashed the checks as i got them but there was one last check for a week of vacation that i never took but scheduled. this was before mobile direct deposit and i had to physically go to the bank to deposit the checks. so i was used to only having one check per week (for the payday), but that week i had two. and i think i forgot to take the second one to the bank. i just found it in the same envelope that my W2 was in while i was going through some old taxes to shred. Sometimes if you check some sites like missingmoney.com, you might find things like that are reported, and all you gotta do is prove your identity to state treasury or something and they'll cut you a fresh check. I recall finding there that I had evidently probably missed my final paycheck at my first job years after the fact. Eventually I went to the trouble to claim it, turned out legit.
